For as long as I can remember, cinnamon rolls have been a part of our family’s Christmas morning tradition. Back in the day, we just popped open a Pillsbury can of them (or perhaps a generic brand version) and put them in the oven and then lamenting wouldn’t it be great if there was just a tablespoon or two more icing? To up the specialness of Christmas morning, at some point we learned that making cinnamon rolls are actually very easy to make and taste so, so much better.
When our first vegan Christmas arrived, I thought for sure our cinnamon rolls would never stand up to memory but not only did they stand up, we all applauded. Easy, delicious, vegan. You can do this!
